Aliki Arnaouti: Video artist, set designer, costume designer, photographer. Master of Arts in Scenography, Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London.
Purpose:
To introduce and familiarize the idea of Video Art Installation in Public Space, using AugmentedReality applications on smartphones (Android or iOS). A tool offering great potential to creators, audiences and viewers as it facilitates both access and communication. Αt low financial cost and low risk of wear, it may easily be used in public space making space useful and highlighted.
Participants:
Students, professionals of all industries, artists, architects, designers. Everyone interested. This knowledge is not taught “live” anywhere else! Only in this workshop!
Practice:
Creation of video art installation in Ermoupolis’ public space via smart phones [Augmented Reality & QRCodes].
Creation of group video art installations which present a complete narrative in local public space.
All projects will be posted on the official site of Eye's Walk Digital with optional reference of participants / creators.
Prerequisites:
Own smartphone
Program Objectives
This program will cover all major topics of video installation art applications, with emphasis on practical knowledge.
Our intention is to promote the art of Video Installation to anyone interested. We welcome: Artists, Architects, Developers, Advertisers, Event Organizers, and anyone who is interested personally. Knowledge of video mapping has many-sided application on all sectors of sciences, art and technique.
