Welcome to a Better World! Art in Public space enhances Democracy! Τhe public artist Athina Kanellopoulou run a 2-day participatory workshop with a dream team of children aged 6-12 years old.
Public art has a positive influence on young people by making them more involved in important issues like Democracy. Athina Kanellopoulou exchanged ideas about horizontal democracy (the value of voting) with the children and together, hearing Bob Marley created their own Video Projection.
The animated video mapping titled “How to paint like a child: for a Better World" was projected on the facade of Cinema Pallas in Ermoupolis, Syros, in the framework of Eye's Walk Festival 2017.
