Bibart - Bari International Art Biennial at this historic moment it is transformed into an international public art container for the promotion of artistic creation through technology and new media in collaboration with Eye's Walk Digital festival in Athens.
In this time where events cannot be held in public, we intertwine video art and performance art with virtual audiences all over the world, allowing a new space for meeting and artistic expression. The “ITALY-GREECE: Restart project” is an inclusive event.
We passionately believe in Digital Arts, in the poetry they can provide to our life. This is the time for everyone to enjoy their experimental and poetic turn-off images, sounds and words.
Digital Arts are a fertile ground for Women-artists and Artists from LGBTQI+ communities to be visible, innovative and to shine. We encourage their participation.
The selected works will be displayed on the Bibart Biennale TV YouTube channel from May 9th until September 12th 2020.
From 5 to 12 September 2020, a week of live screenings will be scheduled at the Bibart Biennale exhibition site, located in Bari at the Church of Santa Teresa dei Maschi.
Curators of the event are Miguel Gomez art director of Bibart Biennale and Filia Milidaki curator of the Walk Eye's digital festival.
