“Europass” // 2016

Video Installation Art, Graffiti & Performing Art at the Historical
center of Ermoupolis

«Europass» places itself at the center of Europe’s present time, the mobility of nations and migration. A social dialogue commences between artists and audiences the starter being the words of the French philosopher Jacques Derrida: «We ask ourselves with hope, with fear and trembling, what will the face of Europe look like?».

The streets of Ermoupolis -a city that was created in the 19th century by immigrants- are filled with endless queues like those formed by refugees at the borders. The neoclassical buildings of the island are illuminated by projections. And Art projects that speak about boundaries and borders, bridges and prejudices appear.
