Samuele Livornese
“Light of thy countenance/continent”
[2016]
«These pictures refer mainly to a trip to Germany, one of the many centers in Europe. It is a kind of non - chronological calendar. The text reflects on the question posed by EUROPASS project: the face of Europe. Sound combines electronic music by AlessandroLoPresti - an artist who lives in Moscow, another center of Europe - with synchronized and asynchronous sounds of the environment. The result is to resemble a classic figure of a labyrinth, assuming there is one or many ways to get to the center where the prize is exit.»
Samuele Livornese was born in Messina, Italy and lives in Venice. He has a diploma in Russian and English language and culture.
