InCommOn // Sustainable & Participatory Urban Development

This collective exploration in the neighborhood of Ano Poli with the aim of searching and documenting the art exhibitions in public spaces, will be carried out by InCommOn within the framework of the Eye's Walk Digital festival. The goal is to activate thoughts about what can be considered as cultural "resources" in the neighborhood of Ano Poli, so that the neighborhood becomes more circular.
The mapping will consist of three parts: Introduction-Context-Methodology, Mapping, Composition. Participants will be divided into three groups, they will explore specific routes in Ano Poli and will return to the space of the Circle-Workshop for Urban Sustainability and Circularity, where they will share what they have recorded. The artist Maria Salouvardou collected garbage from the Koule Cafe neighborhood with the help of the residents and shop owners. Its purpose was to create a dress-sculpture to set up her performance “Dead Land”, about responsibility and ecology, in the Byzantine bath.
All of this would have been impossible without the support of the In Common team and the space, "Kyklos" for the preparation of the sculpture and the performance.
